Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at Nova Artes Engineering. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with optional overtime and travel time included. The applicant will also be expected to participate in the on-call rota (1 in 7) to perform PPM and repairs to an industry standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine PPM, servicing, and breakdowns
  • Report back to management with evidence on our PDA-based system
  • Work effectively within a team or individually
  • Risk assess work/working environments before starting any work to avoid injuries, and undertake all work by Health & Safety and The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (GSIUR) 1998
  • Identify materials and parts required to carry out repairs to the set company standard
  • Keep your allocated company vehicle clean and tidy at all times, always wear the correct uniform, and dispose of any waste to company/HSE regulations
Person Specification:
  • Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or TPCP1)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence desired)
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Ability to work on a call-out rota - 1 in 7
  • Proof of qualifications required at the interview stage
