Year 4 Teacher Role

We are seeking an exceptional educator to provide high-quality education to Year 4 students, promoting their academic and personal growth in a supportive and dynamic team of educators.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons catering to the diverse needs of Year 4 students.
  2. Implement effective teaching strategies to inspire and motivate students.
  3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
  5. Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment promoting respectful behaviour and positive relationships.
  6. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians on student progress and address any concerns.
  7. Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  3. Proven experience teaching Year 4 students in a primary school setting.
  4. Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual learners' needs.
  7. Dedication to ongoing professional development and commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices.
