Sales Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our team at The Recruitment Co. in Daventry, Northants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to external contacts, ensuring a warm and friendly first point of contact for our company.
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, including sending order confirmations with shipment dates.
  • Process credit card payments via virtual terminal and maintain accurate records of customer contact and details within our contact database (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Release orders for shipment to the warehouse in a timely manner and communicate delivery date changes or updates to customers as needed.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues, maintaining control and ensuring full communication to final resolution.
  • Generate quotations for customer requirements, follow up as necessary, and record feedback from customers to ensure we remain competitive in the market.
  • Develop technical product information and applications, and source customer requested items from our vendor base and beyond when necessary.
  • Process paperwork for system-generated inventory purchase orders and maintain accurate records of vendor contact and details within our ERP system (Microsoft Navision).
  • Assist other team members with transactions in other departments and contribute to the development of the business.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment dealing with parts and stock.
  • Reliable, good organizational skills, enthusiasm, and conscientiousness.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and train on the technical aspects of our client's product.
