Electronics Design Engineer

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading company specializing in wireless fire detection and evacuation products. As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic business unit that focuses on creating state-of-the-art wireless fire detection products that communicate without cables using industry-leading radio technology.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Designing, integrating, and releasing new wireless fire detection products, including panels, sensors, communication devices, and user interfaces.
- Developing specifications for electronic products, assemblies, and parts.
- Creating schematic drawings and PCB layouts using Altium Designer CAD software.
- Planning and conducting tests to ensure products meet performance and reliability goals.
- Ensuring regulatory and safety compliance by preparing necessary documentation for third-party approvals.
- Resolving design and component-related production issues and supporting manufacturing processes.
- Optimizing product designs to enhance performance, reduce costs, and improve production efficiency.
- Providing accurate estimates and scope of work for project management to support effective planning of product development programs.
