Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Hache Burgers Connoisseurs LTD. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure seamless service and efficient food preparation.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct regular stock checks, and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to improve performance and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and maintaining accurate records.
- Handle customer feedback and special requests to ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Manage and oversee a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to specification.
- Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency.
- Support with stock management and stock control, ensuring quality and freshness of ingredients.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations, with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and most holidays, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
