About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Staff Nurse to join our dynamic team working across the Neonatal Service on a permanent contract.

The Neonatal Unit provides care for babies who are sick and/or premature who require intensive, high dependency, special or transitional care.

The successful candidate will work as part of the neonatal team providing holistic family centred care to babies and their families.

The role is challenging and demanding, requiring a flexible and proactive approach to develop existing skills in a new environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to babies and their families in the Neonatal Unit
  • Work collaboratively with the neonatal team to deliver holistic family centred care
  • Develop and maintain clinical skills and competencies relating to neonatal care
  • Support senior team members and medical staff in ensuring care delivery meets local, regional and national standards

Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (Level 1 or 2) with post-registration experience and training in handling and administration of blood.

Desirable qualifications include ENB 405 or willingness to work towards, Mentorship Course, and Diploma in Nursing.
