We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team at Ubique Systems UK Limited. As a key member of our service desk, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have at least 7+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in problem-solving involving hardware. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication and documentation skills, and have a strong understanding of ITSM tools and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and maintenance services to clients via phone and remote desktop connectivity applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, including laptop, desktops, printers, and other common desktop applications.
  • Coordinate desktop changes, prepare requests for rollout, and participate in incident handling concerning desktop changes.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a help desk or technical service desk environment.
  • Strong background in problem-solving involving hardware.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools, such as Service now, Remedy, HP Service Center, Peregrine Service Center.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Outlook, MS Project, and MS Visio.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality customer service, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
