About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Expert to join our team at VANRATH in Portadown. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled individual to play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of the accounts payable function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing all invoices and credit notes, verifying Goods Received Notes (GRNs) against invoices and credits, coding and entering invoice data into the purchase ledger system, handling all purchase ledger enquiries, reconciling creditor statements on a monthly basis, setting up BACS/faster payment runs, individual payments to the purchase ledger, and allocating payments to invoices.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working within an accounts payable team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence to challenge and escalate issues appropriately
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
