Job Title: Senior Change Manager

Job Type: Contract [Inside IR35]

At Damco Solutions, we are looking for a skilled Senior Change Manager to lead the operational implementation of the Change Management process across all clients Digital and IT services.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring all Changes are recorded, evaluated, authorised, prioritised, planned, tested, implemented, documented and reviewed in a controlled manner.
  • Assessing all Changes according to Risk and Impact.
  • Engaging with internal and external auditors/previous audits to ensure that Changes are being correctly recorded and managed.
  • Leading the approval/authorisation of Changes in Change Advisory Board (CAB).
  • Maintaining a Forward Schedule of Change, and identifying and managing scheduling conflicts.
  • Defining and approving classification of Changes and appropriate pathways.
  • Driving automation and ongoing refinement of the CAB process, ensuring that approvals, documentation, and communication are digital, streamlined and efficient.
  • Monitoring compliance to the Change Management Process.
  • Liaising with stakeholders and technical staff.
  • Negotiating Change windows with business units.
  • Ensuring relevant KPIs are defined and reported correctly.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Essential:

  • Formal ITILv3/4 certification(s).
  • Practical experience of operational Change Management.
  • An excellent customer service approach.
  • Proven ability to provide management information and data on IT services and systems.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility of approach and a desire to identify ways to make processes more efficient over time.

Desirable:

  • Additional relevant ITILv4 certifications above Foundation.
  • Experience of introducing agile and automated change processes in more traditional environments.
  • A knowledge of Risk Management.
