About the Role



We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate nurse leader to join our team as the Lead Neighbourhood Nurse Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing teams, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care in their homes.



The ideal candidate will have significant post-registration experience, a strong understanding of evidence-based practice, and excellent leadership skills. They will be able to manage finances within a budget and contribute to cost improvements. A strong sense of personal and team accountability is essential, along with a clear understanding of delegated authority.



Job Description



The Lead Neighbourhood Nurse Manager will work closely with the Neighbourhood Nurse Management team and the Head of Nursing to maintain high levels of quality and safety. They will lead the delivery and expansion of an expert Community Nursing service across the organization, ensuring that all patients are treated with compassion, dignity, and respect.



The successful candidate will also promote best practice in infection prevention, ensure a clean and safe environment, and adhere to Trust policy and guidelines. They will be responsible for line management of Neighbourhood Nurse Managers and working collaboratively with other clinical colleagues.



Person Specification




  • Registered nurse qualification (Degree or equivalent) and significant post-registration experience
  • Achievement of high-quality patient care through evidence-based practice
  • Management of finances within a budget, including delivery of cost improvements
  • Ability to be intellectually flexible and look beyond existing structures, ways of working, boundaries, and organizations to produce more effective and innovative service delivery and partnerships
  • Strong sense of personal and team accountability, coupled with a clear understanding of delegated authority


Salary Information



We offer a competitive salary of £60,000-80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
