NRG is seeking a skilled Data Archiving Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our SAP data archiving team, you will be responsible for configuring and managing data archiving processes within our ECC test and production environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure Archiving Objects: Configure archiving objects in the ECC system for archiving, reporting, retrieval, and deletion in both test and production environments.
  • Collaborate with Validation Team: Collaborate with the Validation team to develop comprehensive Work Instructions to document archiving processes.
  • Develop and Execute UAT Scripts: Develop, write, and execute archiving user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts, ensuring the capture of appropriate test evidence.
  • Data Archiving and Deletion: Perform data archiving and subsequent data deletion from the ECC production system.
  • Schedule and Execute Archiving Runs: Schedule and execute regular archiving runs, analyse results, and optimise processes as needed.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure project progress aligns with the plan.
  • Present Findings: Present findings and engage with key stakeholders effectively.
Ideal Candidate:
  • SAP ILM Archiving Experience: Experience with SAP ILM (Information Lifecycle Management) Archiving.
  • Data Archiving Skills: Hands-on experience in data archiving, with demonstrable skills.
  • S/4 HANA Experience: Experience with S/4 HANA.
  • Best Practices Knowledge: Strong knowledge of best practices in data archiving planning and implementation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical thinking and a positive, proactive attitude.

This is a 6-month contract role with a rate of DOE inside IR35. The role is remote with some international travel possible.
