Job Title: Physics Teacher Position

Location: Staffordshire, UK

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per year

We are seeking a talented and motivated Physics Teacher to join our well-regarded secondary school in Staffordshire. As a Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lesson plans that cater to the varying needs of students.
  • Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a love for Physics through engaging practical experiments and innovative teaching methods.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and improve student outcomes.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs or events, to further promote student interest in Physics.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Physics or a closely related subject.
  • Experience teaching Physics at secondary school level (ideally Key Stage 3 and 4).
  • Passion for Physics and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible and engaging way.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A proactive and positive approach to classroom management.
  • A DBS on the update service or be willing to purchase a new one.
