About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team at Melton Mowbray. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to our menu specifications
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Follow the lead of the Head Chef to ensure all prep and par is completed for each shift
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure every customer leaves happy

What We're Looking For
  • Previous kitchen experience as a Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant/Commis Chef, or a willingness to learn
  • Driven and relentless, with a positive can-do attitude
  • Good communication skills and a team player
  • Self-motivated to work at pace, with limited supervision
  • Strong knowledge of best practice when it comes to all things Allergens, kitchen essentials, and Food Safety
