Social Care Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Social Care Specialist to join our Adult Sensory Service team at Kent County Council. As a key member of our team, you will work with adults who are deaf or deaf-blind, providing support and empowering them to lead independent lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake Care Act Assessments, Mental Capacity Act Assessments, and Court of Protection applications
- Engage with communities to provide support and resources to individuals and their families
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement social care interventions
About You
We welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified social workers who can demonstrate capability of practice in accordance with current professional standards, legislative and policy frameworks.
You will hold a registration with Social Work England and have a high level of literacy and communication skills, both verbal and written.
