Do you have a passion for leadership and management in emergency nursing?

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust.

This role will involve leading the Emergency Department team, developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures, and working closely with medical and nursing staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of skills in all areas of the Emergency Department and demonstrable experience of change management, as well as excellent leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • To lead the Emergency Department team and ensure that patients receive the best possible treatment.
  • To develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective care.
  • To work closely with medical and nursing staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • To participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research.

Requirements

  • Significant experience of skills in all areas of the Emergency Department.
  • Demonstrable experience of change management.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £130,000 per annum, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including pension scheme, life insurance, and health benefits.
