We are seeking an experienced Financial Assistant to join our client in Newbury.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Purchase Ledger, processing employee expenses, reconciling credit cards and assisting with Sales Ledger/Credit Control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Purchase Ledger, including posting invoices, allocations and queries.
  • Process employee expenses, ensuring accurate VAT calculations and timely submissions.
  • Reconcile credit card statements, resolve queries and obtain VAT invoices as necessary.
  • Check and process expense card receipts, reconcile monthly statements and account for VAT where applicable.
  • Support the Sales Ledger/Credit Control team during busy periods.
  • Collaborate with the CFO on month-end and management accounting tasks.
Requirements and Benefits
  • £28k - £35k per annum, depending on experience.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Free parking.
  • 22 days holiday + bank holidays.
