As Credit Controller, you will assist the Credit Control Manager and Financial Controller in identifying customers or balances that may result in bad debt. Your tasks will include:
- Chasing outstanding debt via email and phone according to the Credit Policy and Debt Collection process.
- Ensuring accurate credit note logs.
- Adhering to correct procedures and credit checks when onboarding new customers and existing ones.
- Maintaining accurate record-keeping of ledgers within the system with live, up-to-date notes.
- Allocating customer payments and ensuring relevant customers are included on the credit insurance policy.
- Updating the cash flow forecast model daily with expected future receipts.
- Collaborating with the sales team to ensure customer details and contact information are accurate and up to date.
- Responding to customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. A salary of approximately £28,000 is offered for this position, reflecting the company's commitment to supporting their employees as they grow professionally.
