About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Engineer to join our team at Nationwide Platforms. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our powered access equipment, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of machines at client premises and at depot, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and meets manufacturer's specifications.
  2. Repair and maintain powered access equipment at our depot or on-site, using your mechanical and electrical engineering skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
  3. Complete planned maintenance activities, including routine servicing and inspections, to ensure that our equipment is always in top condition.
  4. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with the service they receive and that their equipment is always in good working order.
  5. Work closely with our Senior Service Engineer to ensure that the workshop is running efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  1. Relevant general engineering maintenance qualification, preferably to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  2. Experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics fault finding.
  3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
