About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Engineer to join our team at Nationwide Platforms. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our powered access equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of machines at client premises and at depot as required, and in conformance with manufacturer's specification, company policy, and the regulations affecting the use.
  2. Repair machines at depot or on site as required to ensure conformance with manufacturer's specification and company policy.
  3. Complete planned maintenance activities including maintaining the appearance of the fleet to corporate standard.
  4. Handover machines to customers and familiarise customers with safe machine operation in accordance with company procedures.
  5. Act as an ambassador for the company, providing a high standard of customer care and being polite at all times.
  6. Accurately complete all relevant paperwork including engineer's report, off hire, pre/delivery inspection, and service sheets.
  7. Update system on machine status change i.e., PDI carried out, Machine under repair, 6 monthly statutory Inspection completed.

About You:
  1. Relevant general engineering maintenance qualification, preferably to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  2. Experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics fault finding.
  3. Understand the importance of excellent customer service.
