Site Leadership Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Concrete Plant Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the operational management team and up to 70 staff members per shift, with a focus on achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in safety, quality, cost efficiency, and people.
About the Job- As a Concrete Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for transforming the site into a continuously improving organisation, creating a culture of high performance, and building a climate for success, collective ownership, and a shared sense of achievement.
- Key responsibilities will include ensuring health, safety, and legal compliance for the Plant, promoting a positive safety culture through re-enforcement of safe behaviour and visible leadership, and identifying, documenting, and understanding safety responsibilities and accountability within the management structure.
- You will also be a key member of the regional management team, assisting with creating and developing regional business plans, leading and delivering regional and national initiatives, and owning Plant relationships with union colleagues.
To succeed in this role, you must possess and be able to evidence the following skills and experience:
- Expert operational knowledge related to product, process, and overall plan performance, with a skilled commercial outlook, highly developed communication, people management, and development skills.
- Operational planning and forecasting capabilities for a wider plant, with a history of analysing and improving performance across a full range of scorecard KPIs.
- Track record of being a process management and improvement expert, with a detailed understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and the ability to demonstrate tangible performance improvements.
