Salary and Benefits">The successful candidate will receive an attractive salary of £56,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits. Job Description">We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Quantity Surveying Graduate to join our team as a Commercial Quantity Surveyor. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, have extensive knowledge of NEC suite of contracts (NEC3 & NEC4) with a good track record of their application in infrastructure or technology projects, and sound working knowledge of construction and contract law and various forms of Conditions Contract. They must be proficient in Excel and Word and able to foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. As part of our team, you will work closely with project teams to resolve commercial issues and provide guidance on contract interpretation and application ensuring compliance with NEC principles. Your duties will include managing and administering client contracts, implementing contractual change using EWN and Compensation event processes, supplying-chain contract management, drafting and negotiating subcontracts, administering subcontracts, managing and assessing supplier payment applications, collaborating with project teams to resolve commercial issues, and providing guidance on contract interpretation and application. You will report directly to the Financial Controller and work across all projects within PDS.

Required Skills and Qualifications">To be considered for this role, you must possess an appropriate degree in the Quantity Surveying field or equivalent experience. A good understanding of NEC suite of contracts, construction and contract law, and various forms of Conditions Contract is essential. Proficiency in Excel and Word is also required. Experience in managing and administering client contracts, implementing contractual change, supply-chain contract management, drafting and negotiating subcontracts, and administering subcontracts is advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Self-motivation, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure are also key qualities for this role.
