Position: Retail Operations Manager

In the role of Retail Operations Manager, your primary objective will be to enhance sales performance, optimize store profitability, and ensure exceptional service delivery in a competitive retail environment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the store team, surpassing key performance indicators (KPIs), upholding company standards, and representing JD Sports with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

  • Foster customer loyalty through exemplary service
  • Address customer inquiries, manage complaints, and resolve issues swiftly
  • Ensure high service standards are maintained within the team
  • Utilize Customer Satisfaction surveys and Net Promoter Score effectively

Sales Management:

  • Meet and exceed sales objectives
  • Analyze sales reports to inform strategic decisions
  • Leverage in-store technology to enhance sales performance
  • Monitor performance metrics through the store's dashboard

Visual Presentation:

  • Implement weekly visual merchandising standards to create an appealing store atmosphere
  • Employ visual strategies to attract customers and boost sales
  • Ensure new and promotional products are prominently displayed
  • Maintain displays in accordance with company guidelines

Team Development:

  • Cultivate team members and facilitate internal career advancement
  • Conduct regular training sessions and assess performance standards
  • Monitor employee development and completion of training assessments
  • Focus on management training initiatives to enhance leadership skills

Required Skills, Experience & Knowledge:

  • Previous experience in Retail Management is beneficial
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
