About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at The Lakefields Neurological Centre. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering department, providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all areas and equipment within the catering department are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Serve food and beverages in a professional and customer-friendly manner.
  • Assist with receiving and storing incoming supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Participate in the control of kitchen paperwork.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP.
  • Experience working in a similar role.
  • Basic Food Preparation skills.
  • Knowledge of menu planning and costing.

About the Centre

The Lakefields Neurological Centre is a brand-new 22-bed service providing specialist nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions. Our centre is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including therapy rooms, lounge areas, and beautiful gardens.
