About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Deputy Operational Manager to join our Patient Access team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient access services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Operational Manager and Head of Patient Access in the development and provision of a comprehensive, high-quality patient-centered care service within the resources available.
  2. Provide lead responsibility for the RTT validation team and RTT training across the trust, keeping yourself informed of policy and technical developments in patient choice and booking processes.
  3. Deputise for the Operational Manager when required.
  4. Liaise and engage with the Operational, General Managers/Departmental Managers/Clinical Staff to ensure that service level agreement activity levels and quality standards are maintained for all aspects of patient bookings and RTT across the trust.
