Enforcement Officer

Essex County Council is seeking an experienced Enforcement Officer - Policy and Compliance to join our enforcement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating alleged breaches of planning control, conducting inspections and surveys, and preparing and issuing legal documentation.
You will also be responsible for reporting to the Enforcement Manager on inspections and investigations, as well as updating customers and Members in accordance with Council policies. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about planning enforcement and has a strong understanding of CPIA and PACE rules.
In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of £38,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also be eligible for a local government pension scheme, flexible working arrangements, and access to ongoing learning and development opportunities.
