Job Overview

The Met Office is seeking a Property Management Placement to join our team. As a Property Management Placement, you will assist in the implementation of the key estate management duties across our diverse property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the development and implementation of the Met Office Estate Strategy.
- Engage in the management of landlord and tenant matters, including acquisitions and disposals.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to provide timely professional advice.
- Maintain and improve effective Met Office Estate records and systems.

The Ideal Candidate

- Working towards a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accredited degree in Real Estate Management or similar.
- Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
- Personal drive and ability to complete work effectively and innovatively.
- Excellent communication skills.

Security Clearance

- We require Security clearance, for which you need to have resided in the UK for at least 3 of the last 5 years to be eligible.
- You will need to achieve full security clearance within your first 6 months with us.
