About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Adult Community Mental Health team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical leadership and expertise to our multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise to our multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, working closely with patients, families, and carers to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service strategies, ensuring that our services are responsive to the needs of our patients and communities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including GPs, social workers, and voluntary sector organizations, to ensure seamless care pathways and effective service delivery.
Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the UK and registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Experience of working in a community mental health setting, with a strong understanding of the needs of adults with mental health conditions.
- Excellent clinical and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and carers.
