Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sterile Services Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our sterile services department, you will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision to our team of decontamination specialists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective leadership and supervision to the sterile services team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the sterile services department.
  • Collaborate with the decontamination manager to ensure that all decontamination and sterilization processes are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all medical equipment and devices are properly decontaminated and sterilized, and that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Work closely with the endoscopy unit to ensure that all flexible endoscopes are properly decontaminated and sterilized.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders, including hospital staff, endoscopy unit staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed, and that all staff are aware of their responsibilities in relation to health and safety.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the sterile services team, and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a sterile services or decontamination role.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends.
