Job Summary:

Cameron James is seeking a highly experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to join our team. As a key member of our business, you will be responsible for broking risks to the market, handling new business and renewals, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Risk Broking: Market risks to insurers for new business and renewals, preparing market documentation, and assisting in preparing presentations to clients.
  • Policy Preparation: Preparing policies where appropriate and sending to producers for approval.
  • Client Service: Assisting in preparing presentations to clients, reviewing submissions from producers, and ensuring that all market documentation is closed in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Renewal Management: Keeping track of impending renewals, requesting up-to-date information in sufficient time to enable terms to be obtained.
  • Client Needs Assessment: Assessing the needs of clients and providing service as appropriate across all areas of the business.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Extensive experience within the insurance industry, having worked on a varied cross-class basis.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant products and approving regulatory/statutory requirements for the classes of business.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
