We are seeking a Senior Software Developer in Test to join one of our Nottingham-based Services teams.

As a Senior Software Developer in Test, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions that meet the objectives of Product Management, Risk Mitigation, Quality, and Efficiency. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that software meets the required standards and is delivered on time.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent programming skills, particularly in Java, and experience working with AWS or other cloud providers. You will also need to be able to lead by example, build strong relationships, and influence at all levels. We are looking for someone who is passionate about testing and has a strong understanding of Agile Scrum practices.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement automated testing solutions that meet the objectives of Product Management, Risk Mitigation, Quality, and Efficiency.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure that software meets the required standards and is delivered on time.
  • Lead by example, build strong relationships, and influence at all levels.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize testing tasks.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Identify and report defects and issues to the development team.

What we're looking for

  • Excellent programming skills, particularly in Java.
  • Experience working with AWS or other cloud providers.
  • Strong understanding of Agile Scrum practices.
  • Ability to lead by example, build strong relationships, and influence at all levels.
  • Passion for testing and strong understanding of testing principles.

Where and how you'll work

This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham office. We have a hybrid working model that gives you flexibility to work from our offices and from home. We're big on collaboration and connection, so you'll be based in our office 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
