Financial Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Software Engineer to join our team at Holloway Control Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement software solutions for individual projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client standards.
- Drive the development of our HELIX application and new features/products associated with the platform.
- Engineer innovation in the WCS department, focusing on research and development, new products, and features.
- Develop technical documents in line with client requirements, using industry-standard features, diagrams, and language.
- Review technical documents, drawings, and oversee software functional tests for systems, ensuring project requirements are met.
- Develop Functional Design Specifications for projects, focusing on higher-level control systems.
- Ensure systems are correctly tested and quality-checked prior to deployment.
- Develop bespoke software as required by issued standards and specifications or in-line with client requirements.
- Participate in company training to improve current skills.
- Travel to/from site within the UK for on-site work during working hours.
- Follow Holloway Control Systems' health and safety policy in the workshop and on-site.
- Strong understanding of design, development, and testing of.api interfaces between PC/server systems.
- Network configuration, specification, deployment, and testing (industrial networks considered).
- Configuration of managed Ethernet switches and routers.
- Configuration of servers for remote interfaces and access.
- High-level coding abilities in C#, Django, and Python.
- Front-end application development and deployment abilities (dashboards).
- Handling systems and data capture.
