Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Software Engineer to join our team at Holloway Control Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement software solutions for individual projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client standards.
  • Drive the development of our HELIX application and new features/products associated with the platform.
  • Engineer innovation in the WCS department, focusing on research and development, new products, and features.
  • Develop technical documents and review software functional tests to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop Functional Design Specifications for projects.
  • Ensure systems are thoroughly tested and quality-checked before deployment.
  • Develop bespoke software as required by client standards and specifications.
  • Participate in company training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Travel to/from site within the UK for on-site work during working hours.
  • Adhere to Holloway Control Systems' health and safety policy.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of.api interface design, development, and testing between PC/server systems.
  • Network configuration, specification, deployment, and testing expertise.
  • Experience with managed Ethernet switches and routers configuration.
  • Server configuration for remote interfaces and access.
  • Proficiency in C#, Django, Python coding.
  • Front-end application development and deployment skills.
  • Handling systems and data capture expertise.
