Dermatology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dermatology Nurse to join our Community Dermatology Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with skin conditions, working closely with GPs, Nurse Specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
Main Responsibilities- Provide specialist dermatology nursing care in a variety of settings, including community clinics and hospitals.
- Work independently and collaboratively with the team to achieve clinical objectives and improve patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of dermatology services, including service planning, quality improvement, and education.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate, working within agreed guidelines and protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies.

Person Specification- Registered General Nurse with a strong background in dermatology or a willingness to develop skills in this area.
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
- Knowledge of dermatology services, including current guidelines, protocols, and best practices.
- Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies.
