Our Civil and Estates department plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our airport's facilities, and we are now seeking a skilled Facilities Management Engineer to join our team.

About the Role: As a Facilities Management Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the physical condition of our airport's buildings, roads, and other infrastructure. This will involve developing and implementing maintenance schedules and budgets, working with contractors and external agencies, and providing technical guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders. Your attention to detail and ability to work under pressure will be essential in ensuring that our airport operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve the physical condition of airport buildings, roads, and other infrastructure
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets
  • Work with contractors and external agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience: To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum of a HND in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years' experience working in a similar environment. A degree in a related field and/or relevant certifications (e.g. CEng) would be an advantage. Excellent communication and project management skills are also essential.

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
