Business Development Manager

At The Advocate Group, we're excited to partner with Kopparberg in the search for a skilled Business Development Manager to lead their On Trade channel in the London and South East region.
Kopparberg is a pioneering force in the UK's pear and fruit cider market, holding the title of the country's largest fruit cider brand in both the On and Off Trade.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the pub and bar scene, with their finger on the pulse of what's happening across the cities and towns in their region. They'll be responsible for leveraging this knowledge to drive growth and increase distribution of Kopparberg's products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Actively prospecting new accounts within the On Trade
- Growing distribution of products across the portfolio
- Developing existing business to ensure customer requirements are met to the highest standard
- Creating and owning monthly journey plans to effectively manage diary
- Developing and increasing brand awareness of products
- Maximising sales through educating customers on the company brand
- Networking with route-to-market and maximising relationships with key wholesale partners
- Attending regular meetings with new and existing customers
- Providing support with activations by attending events and tastings
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Drinks experience is desirable
- Field sales experience is required
- A hospitality/sales background will be considered
- Passionate and driven individual with strong communication and people skills
- Highly organised and good time management
- Great team player and culture adder
We're offering a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £55,000, plus bonus and company car, making this an attractive opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level.
