Senior Accountant

Bennett & Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team as an Assistant Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to help manage a substantial portfolio of client accounts, work with a team to further the goals and ambitions of the firm, and develop new business.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring high-quality service and growth.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives, particularly in client service and new business development.
- Assist in the management of a team, comprising Manager, semi-seniors, and junior colleagues.
- Update and maintain accurate records on the internal management system.
- Contribute to improving workflow processes and procedures.
- Preferably a fully qualified member of CIMA, ACCA, or ICAEW, with PQE.
- Part-qualified individuals with extensive work experience will also be considered.
- Senior accountants and highly experienced semi-senior accountants will be considered.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully dealing with clients directly.
- Experience of managing less senior colleagues in a practice environment.
- Confidence, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
- Clear communication skills, with excellent written and oral communication.
- Presentable, courteous, and polite.
- CPD and/or further professional study support.
- Competitive basic salary reflective of experience.
