Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at The Numbers Quarter. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting services to our clients, including financial statement preparation, tax planning, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to clients on financial planning and strategy.
- Manage and maintain client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or QBE) with at least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
- Strong understanding of cloud accounting software, particularly Xero and QuickBooks.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients, ideally within the construction and service-based business sectors.
- Familiarity with reporting and cashflow tools (e.g., Fathom, Float) is a plus, but willingness to learn is essential.
- Flexible working hours, including the possibility of working part-time during school hours or compressed into 4 days per week.
- Hybrid working – you can work from home up to two days per week, with flexibility around school holidays.
- A half-day Friday once a month if key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
