About the Role

We are seeking an Embedded Test Engineer to join our team at EA Technology. As an Embedded Test Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of test systems across combined hardware and software-based products. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to drive continuous quality improvement and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust test programs across all development projects.
  • Conduct various types of testing, including manual, functional, integration, system, regression and performance testing.
  • Prepare detailed test reports summarising test activities, results, and defect analysis.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in testing combined hardware and software-based platforms in an Embedded Testing role.
  • Expertise in automated combined hardware and software testing practices.
  • Strong experience working in both Windows and Linux environments, confident in using the command line.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary based on experience: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
  • A company performance bonus.
  • ~25 days' holiday, plus bank holidays and an additional day after every 3 years of service (up to 30 days).
