Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Smoking Cessation Specialist to join our team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our hospital inpatient team, you will play a pivotal role in helping patients overcome their addiction to smoking and other tobacco products.
Main Responsibilities
1. Provide high-quality smoking cessation behavioral support and pharmacological advice to patients who want to quit smoking or using other tobacco products.
2. Ensure patients have equitable access to our service, providing individualized care and support.
3. Collaborate with patients to develop personalized quit plans, ensuring timely follow-up care and maintaining confidentiality.
4. Proactively raise awareness of our support services through ongoing communications and education.
5. Utilize motivational, influencing, and negotiating skills to increase patient motivation and compliance with our Smoke-Free policy.

Requirements
1. Experience as a Tobacco Cessation Advisor or Nurse.
2. Proven experience working in inpatient hospital settings.

4. NCSCT Practitioner Certificate completed.
Desirable Qualifications
1. Audit skills.
2. Knowledge or experience with behavioral change interventions.
3. Experience organizing and delivering educational learning programs.
