Job Overview

Zonal Retail Data Systems Ltd is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our EPoS systems at sites across the UK and abroad.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure EPoS systems, including structured cabling, according to Company standards and procedures.
  • Perform site surveys to assess and plan requirements for safe installation.
  • Provide on-site training and support to customers.
  • Diagnose and repair faults to component level and effect repair on site or in the workshop.
  • Carry out programme upgrades and data copies as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 months experience in a field-based customer service engineering role, ideally in the hospitality/leisure industry.
  • Background knowledge in computer hardware, including PCs, IP networks, and Wi-Fi.
  • Clean driving licence and ability to obtain an airport pass.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
