About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join 00191 Leidos Security Detection & Automation U.K. Ltd. (SDS UK) as a Project Coordinator, responsible for coordinating the installation and commissioning of Lane/Line roller conveyors. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the installation and commissioning of Lane/Line roller conveyors, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that all project requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the installation and commissioning teams.
  • Ensure that all quality control procedures are followed, and any issues are reported to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate the site acceptance testing and reliability testing with the Leidos team resources.

Requirements:

  • Technical experience of Lane/Line roller conveyors installations.
  • PLC programming experience an advantage.
  • Software/HMI operation skills.
  • Familiar with MRP systems.
  • Hands-on experience with tools during installation.
  • Driving license – willing to travel between sites.
  • PC literate, able to upload/download documents and drawings.
  • Software coding knowledge/experience is preferable.
  • Experience of working in environments where public may be present.
  • Understanding of standard industry techniques for Quality control.
  • CSCS card holder or experience of working inside CDM requirements.
  • Willing to learn/train.
  • Able to read PDF/CAD drawings.
  • Capable of working to work instructions and Method Statements.
  • Willing to mentor and develop others to achieve the business goals.
