Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to develop their skills in a supportive environment while contributing to large-scale engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and submission of interim valuations and applications for payment.
• Support the monitoring of project costs to ensure budgets are maintained and variances are reported.
• Participate in the preparation of final accounts and resolution of contractual claims.
• Conduct material and quantity take-offs from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Support subcontractor management, including preparation of orders and assessment of applications for payment.
• Assist in the preparation of internal cost/value reports and other financial documentation.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective cost control and project delivery.

Experience:
• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or working towards one).
• Some experience or knowledge of quantity surveying practices, preferably within the engineering or construction sector.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., MS Excel, project costing systems)
• A proactive and enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
