We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Media Strategist to join our Marketing team at British Land. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated paid-for digital campaigns that drive reach and engagement across our retail portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with brand goals and channel objectives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team and external agencies to plan and execute digital campaigns that meet KPIs.
- Optimize organic social content across all chosen platforms to maximize engagement and reach.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital display technologies and formats, and leverage dynamic ads, rich media, and high-impact formats to drive results.
- Lead idea generation for social campaigns and oversee delivery through internal teams.
- Plan and train junior team members to ensure best practices are maintained.
- Translate monthly and campaign-specific reporting into actionable insights to improve engagement and share with marketing managers.
- Manage key agency relationships and budgets related to media buying and social media.
- Ensure data is at the heart of decision-making, leveraging insights to inform content strategy, set objectives, and measure success.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident, proactive, and self-starting individual who works well under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with an inquisitive mind and a drive for continual improvement.
- Solutions-driven, innovative, and creative thinker with experience in scoping and preparing briefs and managing associated budgets.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, as well as planning and scheduling platforms, and proficiency in Google Analytics.
- Experience leading small to medium-scale projects and/or campaigns, with knowledge of digital marketing.
- Desirable: recognized marketing qualification or prepared to study for one.
- Significant experience in a marketing-related position, with experience performance managing service providers and agencies.
