Job Summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a highly skilled GSE Mechanic to join our team. As a GSE Mechanic, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of airport service vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition to support our aviation operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and repair gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on airport service vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, working with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations and efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical repair and maintenance, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Valid US driver's license and ability to operate airport service vehicles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Working Conditions
