About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Care Operations Manager to join our team at Home Instead. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our care operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management team in the day-to-day running of our care operations
  • Accountable to the Registered Operations Manager for the delivery of care services
  • Take care enquiries and conduct initial consultations to onboard new clients
  • Develop and implement detailed care plans and risk assessments
  • Ensure the safe and legal delivery of care to our clients through ongoing care plan reviews
  • Implement company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Organize and participate in regular staff meetings to promote team collaboration and development
  • Ensure all staff are trained and competent to deliver high-quality care services
  • Manage and support the care team in the community, including on-call duties
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in the home care sector, preferably in domiciliary and live-in care
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory responsibilities and compliance
  • NVQ Level 3 in care or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and management skills
  • Ability to manage own time and be proactive
  • Full driver's license
