Job Title: Commercial Renewals Advisor

At Lawes Insurance Recruitment, we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Renewals Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for driving the profitable expansion of our Southern regional renewal business.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced underwriter to take ownership of a caseload and drive business growth. You will work closely with our Regional Manager and Regional Underwriting Manager to develop and implement the local underwriting strategy for your specialized area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload independently, delivering high-quality results and meeting targets.
  • Develop and implement the local underwriting strategy for your specialized area, in coordination with the Regional Manager and Regional Underwriting Manager.
  • Take ownership of the target retention rate for your caseload and region, providing support as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with market shifts and new product launches, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Utilize strong commercial and/or financial lines underwriting experience to effectively underwrite larger, more intricate risks.

  • A thorough understanding of the business's products and the ability to underwrite larger, more intricate risks effectively.
