Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our dedicated Community Mental Health Team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with medical professionals, psychological therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to adults with mental health challenges.

You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing client-specific care, working independently and as part of a team to diagnose, assess, and implement care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients with mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered outcomes
  • Assess and develop care plans in conjunction with patients and their families
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities
Requirements
  • Relevant professional registration (NMC)
  • Relevant professional qualification
  • Experience of working with people with mental health problems
  • Ability to travel to undertake work and carry equipment relative to the post
