Business Process Data Analyst Opportunity

Yorkshire Water is seeking a skilled Business Process Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Water Distribution team, you will play a vital role in creating and embedding management information dashboards to support operational, strategic, customer, and health and safety objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain management information dashboards in Microsoft Power BI to provide clear visibility of current performance across all Water Distribution teams.
  • Collaborate with Water Distribution managers and people leaders to define key performance measures aligned to operational processes and objectives.
  • Analyse large volumes of data to identify trends, drivers of performance, and root causes, providing insights to support continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Work with CI Analysts to identify, analyse, implement, and track progress of improvement opportunities.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports and data to support business cases and delivery of change.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of building reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI and Excel, including data collation and processing from multiple sources.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse large volumes of data, presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication skills to present data to colleagues at all levels.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, managing own time and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
