Warehouse Support Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Support Assistant to join our team at The Recruitment Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our depot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying waste bins
- Operate manual handling equipment (MHE) to move materials and supplies
- Support the H&S/Site Services Specialist with ad hoc duties, such as stock control and basic maintenance tasks
- Check and put away catering, cleaning, and stationery supplies
- Stock the canteen daily
- Clean the 3 main stairwells of the mezz levels, warehouse floor, bathrooms, and canteen as required
- Empty general waste bins into skips using MHE daily
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks
- Operate responsibly with regards to health and safety
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Physical ability to lift and move materials
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures
Working Hours: 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, or 8am-4pm
Salary: £27,000 per annum
