Quantity Surveyor

FM Conway is a leading provider of transportation solutions, and we are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Street Lighting division. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our street lighting projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the change control process, capturing, notifying, valuing, and agreeing variations and contractual claims.
- Post-contract liaison with stakeholders, designers, suppliers, and internal divisions.
- Prepare and issue contractual letters to clients and sub-contractors.
- Provide advice on the procurement strategy, including cost value analysis and procurement of sub-contractors.
- Maintain awareness of different contracts in current use, ensuring all current legislation and document control is adhered to.
- Prepare, update, and present monthly CVR and P&L documents to senior management.
- Monitor and report forecast against actual costs and value throughout the programme of works and attend site visits when required.
- Industry experience in either highways or street lighting.
- Expert knowledge of NEC, JCT, or ICE contracts.
- Excellent knowledge of costing, measurements, and valuations.
- Degree in quantity surveying or equivalent.
- CSCS card and driving license.
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays.
